    • Diagnose mental health problems.
    • Conceptualize specific adult and child mental health problems within a psychological framework and carryout relevant treatment/management.
    • Apply psychological principles and techniques in rehabilitating persons with mental health problems and disabilities.
    • Work with the psychosocial dimensions of physical diseases, formulate and undertake focused/targeted psychosocial interventions.
    • Undertake research in the areas of clinical psychology such as, mental health/illness, physical health/diseases and relevant societal issues viz. misconception, stigma, discrimination, social tension, gender construction, life style etc.
    • Work with community to promote health, quality-of-life and psychological well-being. Undertake responsibilities connected with teaching and training in core and allied areas of Clinical Psychology.
    • Undertake administrative and supervisory/decision-making responsibilities in mental health area.
    • Provide expert testimony in the court of law assuming different roles
    3. PG-Diploma PGDEI
    • The professionals have a scope of working in:
    • Paediatric units of hospitals, paediatric clinics, child guidance clinics at risk follow up clinics,
    • Child development centres, rural primary health centres in district health centres.
    • Comprehensive rehabilitation centres, service centres for visually handicapped, hearing Handicapped, mentally retarded, cerebral palsy and physically handicapped Coordinators, In charge of early intervention centres, pre-school and nursery programs.

    5. UG B.ASLP B.ASLP aims to promote understanding about development of communication, Language, & Hearing in both normal and Persons with disabilities. After successful completion of the programme, the candidate shall register under the Rehabilitation council of India as a professional to practice in the related field. Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist work in a variety of settings, such as

    • Health care settings (including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, medical rehabilitation centres, mental health facilities)
    • Regular and special schools
    • Early intervention programs/ multidisciplinary rehabilitation centres
    • Industrial settings
    • Hearing aid and cochlear implant manufactures
    • Manufactures of devices/ prosthesis for individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
    • Universities/ colleges and their clinics
    • Professional associations
    • State and central government agencies and institutions
    • Research centres
    • Private practice setting
    6. UG BOT Occupational Therapy in the field of Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Geriatrics, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Hand Rehabilitation Evaluate persons with disabilities in areas of sensory motor, cognitive, psychosocial, activities of daily living & work by using standardized procedures, interviews, observations. Treat persons with disabilities using therapeutic techniques, purposeful therapeutic activities. Design and fabricate splints, assistive devices and adaptive aids. Train for independence in daily activities. Modify environment to support participation and many more. Occupational Therapist can avail employment at Hospitals, Community, National Institute, Schools, Colleges and Independent Private Practice
    7. UG BPO Prosthetics and Orthotics is a specialized health care profession, which combines a unique blend of clinical and technological skills. The Prosthetic and Orthotic Professionals assess and evaluate patients, prescribe custom design, fabricate, and fit the orthoses and prostheses. Rehabilitation of persons with locomotor disabilities or neuromuscular disorder is a team work, where Centre of attention are the persons with disabilities. This work requires substantial clinical and technical judgment. Prosthetic and Orthotic Professional does not only provide service to persons with neuro- musculoskeletal disorder and persons with disability, but also it provides service to general health and work related disorder such as foot disorders, fracture, sports injuries, disorders due to aging, tendinitis, muscular pain , aesthetic restoration etc.. Prosthetics and Orthotics Professionals play an important role in the comprehensive pre and post-surgical management of amputee and other neuromusculoskeletal disorders. Prosthetics and Orthotics Professionals makes the patient independent, confident and useful member of the society through comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic management.

    11. Certificate Course CCCG – Advanced The Candidates those who have successfully completed the program will be able to work as a caregiver for persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple disabilities.
