The National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD) established its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on 2018. Functioning as a facilitative and participative organ of the institute, the IQAC serves as a driving force for instilling quality and strategically plans, guides, and monitors quality assurance and enhancement activities at NIEPMD.
Chaired by Dr. Nachiketa Rout, Director of NIEPMD, the IQAC is supported by various members, including senior teachers, a senior administrative officer, and nominees from the local society, all appointed by the Director. Since its inception, NIEPMD’s IQAC has been actively engaged in a diverse range of quality-related activities, ensuring the continuous improvement and assurance of quality standards within the institute.
